We Need School Supplies!

Your branch will be participating in Helping Hand's 3rd Annual Bishop Garth Block Party on Sunday, September 12th from 2-7pm between Church and South Bishop Streets.

The branch membership has agreed to donate backpacks filled with school supplies to one elementary student, one middle school student, and one high school student. We will also purchase additional school supplies to give away to students attending the event.

Please help us in this endeavor by donating your time, supplies, or money!  You can help by buying some school supplies from these lists of supplies or donating money so others can buy the supplies.

SUPPLIES AND MONEY: You can drop off supplies and/or money at our offices (255 Clifton Blvd, Suite 310) on the following dates:

Tuesday, September 7th from 12-2pm Thursday,
September 9th (CCPS Schools closed) from 12-2pm
Saturday, September 11th from 10am-12pm

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME: If you have 2 hours to volunteer between noon and 7pm the day of the block party, Sept. 12th, we need volunteers at our table to help sell drinks and popsicles and accept membership applications. Please come out and join us as we kick off the new school year with the youth of our communities!
