The
Legal Redress Committee
, led by former president Charles Harrison, serves to support members and non-members alike in assuring that legal actions are taken in cases of racial, gender-based and other discrimination. The committees charge is to investigate any complaints brought to it, determine any validity, an attempt if possible to mediate equitable solutions. Over the years this committee has been very effective in bringing previously non-communicating parties together to sort out confusions and misunderstandings and help all parties learn how to live in a non-discriminatory way in our community.
